Hi,
I use the debian installer with a preseed file to perform automatic
installations. How can I preseed the resolution of the display? Now I
use
xserver-xorg xserver-xorg/autodetect_monitor boolean true
xserver-xorg xserver-xorg/config/monitor/selection-method select medium
xserver-xorg xserver-xorg/config/monitor/mode-list select 1024x768@85Hz
xserver-xorg xserver-xorg/config/display/modes multiselect 1024x768 1400x1050 1280x1024 1024x768 800x600 640x480
xserver-xorg xserver-xorg/config/display/default_depth string 8
Seems to have no impact, the machine comes up with a resolution of
1280x1024. Any hints?
Did you ever figure this out?
discovered the same problem?
Michael
