CD-RW drive not detected

Hi,

my CD-RW drive does not work with Feisty (but with Debian Sarge). I
already filed a bug[1] (for both optical drives but the DVD drive
works now ...) but the problem isn't solved.

Hardware:
---------
Mainboard: Asus P5LD2/C with an ITE8211F IDE controller (PRI_EIDE
and SEC_EIDE) to which the HDDs are connected
Chipset:
Northbridge: Intel 945P
Southbridge: ICH7R
HDD (Debian): Maxtor 6E040L0. Connected to the ITE8211F IDE
connector (PRI_EIDE)
HDD (Ubuntu): Samsung SP0812N. Connected to the ITE8211F IDE
conector (PRI_EIDE)
CD-RW: LITE-ON LTR-48125S. Connected to the ICH7R IDE connector
(PRI_IDE, master)
DVD: HL-DT-STDVD-ROM GDR8160B. Connected to the ICH7R IDE connector
(PRI_IDE, slave)

With this configuration Ubuntu doesn't boot. If only one of the
optical drives is connected Ubuntu boots. But with the CD-RW drive
connected this drive does not work. Media in this drive is not
detected although I can eject it (eject /dev/hda resp. eject
/dev/cdrom). With the DVD drive connected everything works, media is
detected.

When I connect the CD-RW drive to the ITE8211F connector (SEC_EIDE)
Ubuntu doesn't boot anymore neither. When it doesn't boot it always
stops with the following message on console 2 (Strg + Alt + F2):

intel_rng: FWH not detected

Here is some more information:
Output of lspci -vvnn:

Output of lshw -short:
With DVD drive connected:

With CD-RW drive connected:

Output of dmesg:
With DVD drive connected:
http://www.zvisionwelt.de/tmpdownloads/dmesg-dvd
With CD-RW drive connected:

I hope somebody can help me because I'm at a loss.

Regards
Christoph
