I have PC with multiple network interfaces.
eth1 is connect to the LAN hub
eth0 used to be connected to our DMZ, but currently disconnected.
i installed feisty on it and installed vmware-server
from the commercial repository.
vmware installed fine.
I copied a VM folder from my windows box and started it up.
the VM has an ethernet device which is setup as "bridged"
when i start the VM the OS reaches the point where it tries to get an
IP from DHCP
and fails. I get the feeling the ethernet device is bridged with the
eth0 on the host.
how do i get it so it is bridged to the eth1 device?
TIA,
Tomoki
