Well, it certainly is a lot better. The internal mic seems to capture a
lot of the machine's own sound - fan, drives etc - but the volume is now
much more acceptable. I'll try it in a bit with an external mic, but I'm
sure you have solved it for me.
Who would have thought the volume control could be so like an adventure
game?
