mkfs.ext2 recovery

In an attempt to recover access to my LVM set, I accidently ran
mkfs.ext2without the Superblock switch. It overwrote the inodes and
superblocks and
the data mounts now but all the data is missing. Is there anyway to recover
the data at this point or am I screwed?
