clicking bug?

Anyone else see this? Rebooting isn't helping...
Sometimes (like now) there seems to be a "glitch" where a click goes
nowhere; the button or bar I'm clicking on doesn't register any of the
mousedown events.
If I drag a the window to a new position, suddenly that button or spot
relative to the windows I'm working in works.
It's almost like an invisible, statically positioned window is
intercepting the click and doing nothing with it...?
