Re: [users]Hide Glipper icon

if you want to disable this service, go to System > Administration >
Services and disable the service. But if you just dont want it to sit
in tray, just right click and remove.

Hi all
I want to hide (remove) the Glipper icon from traybar: because, this
app run in background and is shown via ctrl+alt+c.

It's possible?

I'm not sure, but I think that most apps that sit on the tray, if removed
will not be brought up by the keyboard shortcut.

The only way I know of removing it is by quitting, and that's obviously not
what you wanted.

Try using Parcelle now becoming named "Parcellite", you can run the
app in the background without a present tray icon.

I think Parcelle is in the Ubuntu repositorys but not 100% sure, as I
don't have a Ubuntu machine in front of me right now.
