Hello ereryone,

I've just installed ubuntu 7.04 and I'd like to install a newer verson of
the kernel.

Any particular reason why? If it's to get new drivers, you may just want
to upgrade to the gutsy beta now ("update-manager -d").

Is it possible to install a version like 2.6.21 or greater?

Anything's possible ;-)

Is it possible to do this from the repository or I have to recompile it?

You might try to use the gutsy version, but my guess is it's going to be
a headache.

If you compile from source, you'll have to manually manage security
updates, which may not be worth your time.

Thanks in advance

Best regards, Sauro
