Update "*broke*" the Gutsy Gibbon.

Fortunately I run both GNOME and KDE.
After today's update, GDM (and X?) crashed when I tried to log out. I
finally killed X and tried to log back in.
I could not get GDM working at all, so I switched to KDM. I managed to
get into GNOME but then I got an error message about HAL not working. I
logged out and logged back in with the same error.
Then I tried logging into another account I have on the machine (from
KDM as well) and it wouldn't accept my password (it's the same as my
"regular" account).
I'm now in KDE but my network setting seemed to have vanished. I had to
tinker with the settings in kcontrol's Network Settings applet to get
eth0 back up and running.
I'd file a bug report, but I don't know where to begin... ;)
