Ftp Problems

After a lot of work... my ftp server it looks like is working.. i mean..
i can log in from a client but... i cant see anyfolders or files...

my ftp folder is in /home/ftp

i know this because when i change the permissions it affects the log in
process, but i cant create a folder or upload...

My head is HOT, i have no more hair.. what do i do... im using
pure-ftpd.

PLZ HELP..
