I don't think so Martin. I thought about this at first but even when I'mPlease don't top-post. It makes it very hard to have a conversation.

I seem to be having a problem with my Compaq R400 laptop keyboard in
Ubuntu. I will be typing away, like creating this message, and all of a
sudden I am typing in another unrelated text box somewhere. It happens
often, but in XP I've never seen the issue before so it should not be a
hardware problem.
Does the laptop have a touchpad? My new HP is impossible to type on without
my thumbs dangling near the touch pad (obviously designed for hunt-and-peck
typists), which often causes refocusing of the mouth. The only certain
solution I know is to disable the touchpad completely, but it should be
possible to desensitize it.
