Nevermind! How do I mount an img (DVD image) file in ubuntu 7.10

I simply renamed it to an iso file and mounted it --
all is well. This is after installing ccd2iso, which
just gave an error that it couldn't read the file type
making me suspect it might not actually be an img file
afterall.

I already use Gmount for ISO files, is there an
equivalent?
