Dapper on a Core 2 Duo 6300

I've got Dapper server on a Core 2 Duo 6300. I have to have Dapper. Here's my problem. /proc/cpuinfo only shows one processor. I've got the SMP kernel installed.

Can anyone tell me if Dapper and the SMP kernel works with the core 2 duo?
