I've got Dapper server on a Core 2 Duo 6300. I have to have
Dapper. Here's my problem. /proc/cpuinfo only shows one
processor. I've got the SMP kernel installed.
Are you sure this kernel is booted? Have a look at uname -a or similiar
to check.
If SMP kernel is really running, have a look if the output from dmesg
shows some odd messages regarding your CPU setup. Usualy this can be
found right at the top of dmesg output.
Can anyone tell me if Dapper and the SMP kernel works with the core 2
duo?
Yes. Dapper and its -smp kernel support both cores on Core2Duo.
