ATI X1400 - never again ATI

Hi,

I tried everything (ATI driver installed, Gutsy propriatry driver, getting xorg.conf from google search,...) to get my Dell Inspiron 9400 with ATI X1400 graphics card to run with video acceleration in its 1920x1600 resolution. In vain, The best result I get is 1600x1280 (I think) with the propietary driver installed by Gutsy. Does anyone have a working xorg.conf and the driver so that I can finally get the display Gutsy deserves ?
