Hello,
I'm changing a conectiva server by a Ubuntu 7 server. But i have two
ethernet cards on my server, and just one (onboard) is up by server.
lspci show de two cards, without IRQ conflicts, but when run ifconfig IP
netmask MASK i received the message "No such device".
First disable all interfaces using "ifconfig -a" and choose you're wanted
one. Then its set up using "ifconfig interface address". It would be nice by
you to paste "ifconfig -a" or "ifconfig interface" here and tell us your
wanted parameters.

At conectiva i had a modprobe archive, in this file i could put the eth and
its alias.
How can i setup the second ethernet card ?
Detail - I disable de onboard card, i change de ethernet card offboard, and
the problem still persist
Please, somebody can me help ???
Thank you
