At the risk of being drawn and quartered. I'd make it a Windows gaming
platform.
That would be a tragic waste of processing power... I am not at all a
gamer, from the little I read, at best, some select few can partially
make use of a second CPU core, so that would be waste at least 6 ou of
8 cores.
What about using all these CPU's to work on some distributed
scientifdic project, analysing data ? You know, like participating to
some medical or space program, heard about them, don't know enoguht
details to point you to the right website for you to register,
though ! :-/
Or you could use it to help Launchap and its "build farm", to speed up
the development of Ubuntu and other Linux programs ?
The possibilities are endless, you are luck y to have been given such a
machine ! :-)
That said, the power consumption of said machine, if left running at
full load 24/7, will probably make your electricity bill double ! ;-/
