Go to <https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/options/ubuntu-users>, log in
and make sure you've got email delivery enabled.

Oh I did check the mailing list on the web, it told me that I was
already signed up...

Right. Mailman will automatically disable email delivery to you if it
keeps getting bounces from your address. It's possible this is what
happened.
