[ubuntu-users] Error NT_STATUS_CONNECTION_REFUSED

I am encountering a SAMBA problem with Ubuntu. The error is directly
below. In the DETAILS section of this email are SAMBA commands and the
response to these commands for 2 XP machines and 3 Linux machines
(including Ubuntu). I only included test results for 5 different
machines. Ubuntu is the only machine of these 5 that refuses connection
and acts the same with other Lan machines. Ubuntu is installed in a
dual boot configuration with an XP machine. The location of the SAMBA
configuration file is: /etc/samba/smb.conf with owner and user both
root. The permissions did not include x, so I changed this with chmod
but it made no difference.
