Dapper-updater For KDE

Have been reading list with interest on all the
questions regarding upgrading to Hardy Herron. Noticed
one post in particular saying to add Dapper-updater to
Upgrade Manager as it contained additional upgrade
checks to assure a good upgrade that apt-get or
aptitude didn't have. Or something to that effect.
My question is: How do I add the Dapper-Updater to my
KDE-desktop and to what program? Since I'm running
KDE and would likely use Adept Manager, Synaptic or
Aptitude to upgrade to Hardy, how would I add the
Dapper-Updater to KDE-desktop(Kubuntu-desktop) and
what package manager best to use for Kubuntu-desktop
for the Hardy upgrade? BTW, I couldn't find
Dapper-Updater, or whatever it was called, in the
K-menu anywhere or with aptitude search.
Hoping to clear this confusing issue, Thanks.
