Network Ubuntu-Windows

Hi, everybody! Ubuntu 7.04 detected Windows and Windows detected Ubuntu 7.04. A password was needed in Windows but files could be transferred back and forth. Now Ubuntu 8.04 detects Windows and files can be brought from Windows, but Windows can't see Ubuntu 8.04. Anybody has an idea about what is happening...?
