This is a real newbie question, but then I'm a real newbie to IRC
I was trying to set my pidgin up to use IRC I got the channel set okay,
but where do I enter the room name?
Hey,
This doesn't answer your question (I've never used IRC via Pidgin),
but I'll post it anyway.
I'd suggest you use something like X-Chat for IRC. XChat is excellent
and is very customizable. I prefer the Black theme for it (The default
theme is pretty ugly), which is at
http://xchat.org/files/themes/blacktheme.zip
Note: XChat-Gnome is _NOT_ XChat; It's a port of xchat to gnome or
something like that. Don't use xchat-gnome, use the normal xchat
package.
