Freemind

I have been using Freemind in windows for a while now, and now I have
installed Ubuntu. I can't figure out how to install Freemind. I thought
that I had followed the instructions on the Freemind site, but it doesn't
show up.
Does anyone know how to do it?
I'm not very knowlegable about Linux, and don't know the terms yet. I need
a hand holding type of instruction: one syllable words and so forth.
