I used an 8 gig Transcend CF and converter with 7.10 and 8.04 beta.
It worked just fine, though not as fast as I'd hoped.
My system is a Single Board Computer
configuration with dual quad core processors and 2GB of RAM.
Mine was a Gigabyte PC motherboard, dual core, 2 GB.
