ClamAV which is in the repositories, or AVG which is at
http://free.grisoft.com/.
If you go with ClamAV you might also want to install the *clamtk*
package which is a ClamAV GUI.
I've tried Clamtk once upon time, found it quite usless and removed.
As soon you have ClamAV installed it's much easier just to run
clamscan from console supplying path to directory you want to scan.
$:clamscan ~
or
$sudo clamscan /
is really not difficult to remember and to type.
