Yeah, sorry, see the other reply :)
but its not connecting to my router ..
i cant views wireless connections ....
I see. When you say you "can't view wireless connections", is it correct
to assume that you tried the icon on the top panel, that is, Network
Manager?
Also, could you please execute "lsmod | grep 3945" in a terminal?
The output I see is this:
mario@chronic: ~ $ lsmod | grep 3945
iwl3945 89844 0
iwlwifi_mac80211 219108 1 iwl3945
mario@chronic: ~ $
If the output on your machine is empty, the module (= driver) is not
loaded. Try the command "sudo modprobe iwl3945" to load the module.
Was there any output on the terminal? If so, what did it say?
Also, does the wireless work now?
i didnt change anything in my system since i installed ubuntu ...
That's very weird
and when eva i complie any file , wid command '' make install''
it says ur shell is not set to bash ...
Please execute this command in a terminal (without the quotes of
course):
"env > ~/Desktop/environment.txt"
After this you will have a file environment.txt on your desktop. Please
attach it to the reply.
