lsof command warning

I have run into so trouble using the lsof command.

sudo lsof /dev/snd
lsof: WARNING: can't stat() fuse.gvfs-fuse-daemon file system
/home/sam/.gvfs
Output information may be incomplete.

I am at a total loss for what this even means. Any help would be much
appreciated.
