I agree with you about the SONY Vaio. I've had a similar experience.
I was going to go for a Dell or Lenovo.
But I already found MacBookPro Ubuntu wiki help pages :-)

So , tell me, except for the keyboard thingy ... is EVERYTHING else working
for you on the Macbook AIR ?
