This claims that it works with Ubuntu 7.10. Is there a reason that you
believe it wouldn't work with your Hardy? (I assume you use Hardy)

mine. I just for my own use d/l the software and it loaded fine in
Hardy. It is very kernel sensitive it appears. I just got this from the

Can you help us explain in greater detail how the TV doesn't start in XP?
Which application are you using and what is the driver version you have?
At this point we don’t have any drivers or support for AVerTV Hybrid Ultra USB
using Linux.
