I'm running Kubuntu 8.04 on my notebook PC. Each time I boot thisI don't know enough about apparmor to give you good advise - but
machine I get this warning message...
Warning: found apparmor.d/force-complain/usr.sbin/mysqld, forcing
complain mode.
I have MySQL 5.0.51a installed and it's running fine as far as I can
tell. What does the warning message above mean, and how can I get rid of it?
perhaps these threads will help -
http://ubuntuforums.org/tags.php?tag=apparmor along with

Brian
I've read through bot links, but neither one really helps with this
warning message. Can anyone else offer any help with this?
Sounds like it might be an apparmor profile issue. Try these:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/AppArmor
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingApparmor
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/apparmor
After looking at the dubugging link and checking my log file, I think
the packager (for apparmor or mysql) just forgot to remove mysqld from
complain. I've removed it myself and things are fine so far.
Thanks,
Rick
