I would like to connect two monitors to my ubuntu linux machine. I

unsuccessful attempt. Could you please let me know on how to resolve
this issue. Also i have attached my Xorg.0.log
Your Xorg.0.log indicates that your video card (Intel Corporation
unknown chipset 0x2e12 / Intel(r)Eaglelake Graphics Controller) was not
recognized, so it fell back to the generic VESA driver. The VESA driver
does not support dual-head modes.
Upgrading to a newer Ubuntu version could help. The Intel driver in
Intrepid claims to support G45/G43, Q45/Q43, which are all Eglelake
chipsets.
