Just do the --force after all it's a new 8.10 install
and I doubt that
at this stage you can mess things up too much by doing so.

Plugs ears, runs right, then left, then...


And don't forget to duck the bullets-:)) I don't really have a choice if I want a working printer but I thought I'd give Mario and Derek a chance to offer an alternative if there is one. I think not, but I will email brother again and press the issue on deb files or cups drivers. Can't hurt.
