He's right. Flash wears out from write operations and though it does
make for a decent swap just be prepared for it to wear out. With heavy
use the studies have shown about an 8 month life span. I will see if I
can dig up the articles for this information, it's been a while.

They claim a million write operations for "some of them", which I
suppose could be easily done in 8 months on an actively used system like
mine.

My attraction is the price of $12.99 for a 2 gig drive at Crucial.com
compared to around $83 for 2 gig of RAM. On my low budget that's an
enticement, however it may be false economy considering the low life span.
