sudo apt-get install libtool

thought essentials would grab it, sorry. You still need them, they make
compiling easier. If you worry about security then purge
build-essential after you get this program running. If anything else
comes up missing just sudo apt-get the listed item. (hint: type most of
the package name and then hit tab->tab [double tab]. It should
auto-complete the package name [or] give you the list of possibilities.
If it does neither then it does not exist or there is a miss spelling.)

That worked finally, and now I have the first plug in made. Now if I
could just access the instructions again to finish the installs... Is
anyone else able to get a connection to htttp://wwww.tombuntu.com ??? It
just sits in a new tab rotating forever without loading beyond a blank
white page for me now.
