Network-Manager & keyrings

Hi all,
I am running Ubuntu 9.04 on my IBM Thinkpad T30. I spent today working
on my wireless network connection, (that has not worked for a while),
and I have found the core of the problem. When network-manager askes me
for a password it is asking to access the 'default-keyring', instead of
just asking me for the 'Pre-Shared-Key'. Any advice on how to turn off
or remove the keyring, so that I can enter the PSK directly into
Network-Manager. Any help would be appreciated.
