Personally, I think the main thing (or at least one of the main things) that
will kill Microsoft and make its users migrate to Linux will be the helpful
nature of our forums and mailing lists much like this. It's probably one of
the biggest reasons I switched from Windows to Ubuntu.

communities and most of the help seemed to still point to someone who
had something to sell more times than not... if memory serves. Then
again, that may only be because most MS solutions do cost money.
