I need to write this because people keep coming up with
reasons why Lucid 10.04 is not yet stable. This is not true.
It depends on the definition of "stable". It is stable in the sense of
"not crashing". Well, at least I didn't find such a problem until now.
But the composition of packages isn't stable yet. And please be prepared
to recover from situations where e.g. the X-server doesn't start after a
reboot. Things like that are expected to happen while the software is in
alpha state and usually the next update repairs the problem. Just don't
run Lucid on a production machine before it is released.
