FIRST RESULT:
c@c-desktop:~$ cd
/home/c/OOo(3.2)/OOO320_m12_native_packed-1_en-US.9483/DEBS/
bash: syntax error near unexpected token `('

OK. Rename /home/c/OOo(3.2)/ to /home/c/OOo3.2/
You can either do this in nautilus (probably easiest for you) or from
the cli:

$ mv /home/c/OOo(3.2)/ /home/c/OOo3.2/

Then:

$ cd /home/c/OOo3.2/OOO320_m12_native_packed-1_en-US.9483/DEBS/
$ sudo dpkg -i *.deb

because of syntax error, I had to use GUI -- see below:
c@c-desktop:~$ mv /home/c/OOo(3.2)/ /home/c/OOo3.2/
bash: syntax error near unexpected token `('
c@c-desktop:~$ cd
/home/c/OOo3.2.0/OOO320_m12_native_packed-1_en-US.9483/DEBS/
c@c-desktop:~/OOo3.2.0/OOO320_m12_native_packed-1_en-US.9483/DEBS$

OK. So now do the install:
$ sudo dpkg -i *.deb

NoOp--
It appears to be working (for the moment, anyway); thanks. I'll let you
know when I finish.
