I just got a new kernel ending in 22 in todays update. My Ubuntu
10.04 will not boot up with this kernel. I am back up using the 21
kernel. Please check the 22 kernel for errors.

Karl, I have no problem with the update, also on 64 bit.
Boot using kernel 2.6.32-21-generic, then go to sypnaptic, remove
totally 2.6.32-22-generic, then install again 2.6.32-22.
You may have to reboot in between.

I am also using 64bit Ubuntu. I did nothing but update my
computer and the update went fine. But my system does not boot. Quite
odd that you had no problem. I will do something later.
