with dual BIOS chips or something?
No - the same model but with a few more thingies does have dual-bioses,
but not this one (GA-7N400-L).
Anyway, went interstate yesterday, dropped in to my favourite shop to
get some additional RAM and casually asked if there was a mobo lying
around at the back of the workshop which would replace my (assumed)
fried Gigabyte mobo. As it happened, there WAS a working pre-loved, top
of the range, ASUS mobo at the back which would replace my (assumed)
non-working mobo - but which would also give me better performance.
Tonight the old Gigabyte mobo, with it accoutrements, was removed and
the new ASUS will go in tomorrow.
Pictures are 11.

Fact is that which enough people believe. Truth is determined by how fervently they believe it.
