Hi there,
yesterday I updated my Ubuntu 10.04 with the Update Manager (Kernel 2.6.32-25).
After the restart the display was quite dark and I couldnt' get it lighter than the first level I would say.
When pressing the darker button it got immediately dark.
When pressing the lighter button to get that back it took over a minute to get something visible.
I already tried to edit the pomm config file and raised the steps but without any change.
I also reinstalled the nvidia driver without success...
I also restarted with the older kernel 2.6.32.24 (if I'm right as I am now working with the Mac OSX)
I have installed Mac OS X 10.6 and Ubuntu 10.04 as a Dual Boot on a Macbook Pro 6.2.
Thanks for any help or hints!
Best,
Immo
