What's your list of crazinesses?

The window controls are fixable in 30 seconds (literally).

- run gconf-editor
- drill down to apps->metacity->general
- click on the "button_layout" item
- click on the "button_layout" value to start editing it
- move the colon to the left-hand end of the value
- optionally rearrange the other bits (they are self-explanatory)
- close gconf-editor

OR just do this (all on one line, no need for sudo):

gconftool-2 --type=string --set /apps/metacity/general/button_layout ":minimize,maximize,close"
