Can't Read PDF

I just received a PDF file that I really need to process. When I try to open it, I get

I tried to go to the Adobe site and get THEIR pdf reader, but it tells me it isn't there.
Does anyone know how tp process this, or do I have to go to a Windows machine to handle this?
