I upgraded my Desktop to 10.10 from 10.04 last week, and now I'm having
trouble printing some of my files. One file in particular just causes
the printer to turn on all its lights and sit there. I have looked at
syslog, messages, and /var/log/cups/*, and there don't seem to be any
error messages.
The printer is a Brother HL5250DN.
Check the usual suspects first? Ink Supply, paper jam, lack of paper,
parallel/USB plugged firmly in? Blinking lights on the printer usually
indicates a printer problem begging to become fixed. Or, it doesn't
understand what to do with the file sent to it. It suffers. :) Ric
