Re: dual monitor

does it come up mirrored? if so, switch to seperate, and put the external
underneath the primary.

I have an on-board Radeon HD 4200. I'm using the opensource radeon
driver dual head on VGA/HDMI. I tried using the ATI binary driver and
couldn't get it to work. Also, when you first boot up the system
after install it comes up in mirrored mode (where both screens show
the same output). Just go in an open the Monitor Preferences app
under the System->Preferences->Monitor and you should be able to setup
the screen outputs.

Hi,

How do I get my dual monitor working? I like to use the videocard and not
the integrated GPU. Which driver do I need and is it possible to use the
open source driver?

Tell me if you need more info:

Anyone please?

Thanks in advance,
