So are many of the sites I listed.

http://ubuntu-news.org/ is a good example. It's not run by Canonical,
but by community members. It has the branding etc.

If you don't, fine, good for you. Others disagree. Just accept it.


I didn't say I'm sure it doesn't. I was merely asking why _you_ think
it _does_, and try to correlate that with other sites which fit into
your box of "this looks misleading" vs "this looks official".

I'm trying to help, not stir things up dude!
