Shoulda bought an ATI/AMD with Intel processor.
You can, of course, try Unity 2D. Its a bit less well developed than 3D
and less flashy, but it will show you what you can do with Unity.
It can be installed from Ubuntu Software Centre and then selected in the
Session menu on the login screen.
