Is there a terminal request to get which operating system I'm in because this looks a lot like the 10.10 and it has been stable for quite a while but I got it through 11.04, so didn't unity start with 11.04, if so maybe it is unity that causes my trouble in 11.04. How do I turn off Unity in 11.04 or does that just take me back to 10.10 anyway. Me ,I'm confused and I have been told by many people here that they agree with me.
