The Linux Counter Project is at a new home and the admin got my info
updated within minutes. I am a happy camper... and encourage everyone to get

Catching up on a weeks worth of mail, so late to the party. But . . . Why?
What is the point of registering? Community benefit? Personal Benefit?
No particular reason - it is just a bit of fun, but also, it helps to
count how many people are actually using Linux, as opposed to
downloading an ISO, playing and never installing it, or looking at
pages on Distrowatch.
