Are you a Linux newbie? --- LinuxHelp@Linurati.net

If you are running into those little problems that are really
frustrating and degrading your Linux experience, and you can't seem to
find the answer, even though you just know it has to be something
simple, or if nobody will help you and all you get is an "RTFM"
response, then e-mail Linurati.net.

Linurati.net is devoted to helping newbies. We are two friends, one
in the US, and one in Australia, who want to give back to the Linux
community for all the great software we enjoy at no charge by helping
others switch to linux with ease.

Clayton Weymouth is a Linux user working on his own Linux distro, COLD
Linux. You heard it here first!

Shawn Milochik (that's me) is a web developer in the US who has been
using Linux for over 3 years at home.

If you send an e-mail to LinuxHelp@Linurati.net, it will go to both of
us.

We will try to help you as best we can, and write tutorials, FAQs, and
link to the great existing documentation already out there, but maybe
difficult to find when you don't know quite how to search for it.

We are not trying to be yet another Linux site. We just want to be
the best place to start your search. We will not be re-writing
documentation if it's already out there. Unless it's confusing for
beginners, in which case we may just write a quick note to make it
easier to understand.

The purpose of this newsgroup post is this: The more you ask for
help, the more you help us. If a bunch of people new to Linux keep
asking us their basic "Newbie questions", then we'll eventually be a
mighty fine resource for everyone else.

Think of it as your way to give back to the community by helping build
a newbie-friendly knowledge base.

Thanks for reading,
Shawn
